Shipment and Delivery Policy - Nearby Pets India

This Shipment and Delivery Policy ("Policy") outlines the shipping options, charges, timelines, and applicable conditions for orders placed through Nearby Pets India, managed by KRP Tech Solutions OPC Private Limited ("Company"). By placing an order with us, you agree to adhere to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1. Service Areas and Limitations
We strive to deliver pets across various locations. However, please note that we may not serve certain remote locations, such as Andaman, Port Blair, or dense forest areas, due to logistical challenges. Our ability to deliver to specific pin codes will be confirmed during the order placement process.

2. Delivery Options & Charges
2.1. Landmark Pickup

Charge: ₹999

Description: Delivery will be made to a designated landmark pickup point (e.g., Railway Station, Bus Station) within the destination city. The pickup point is allocated based on the billing address provided.

Delivery Timeline: 5–7 working days

2.2. Doorstep Delivery
Charge: ₹1999

Description: The order will be delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep.

Delivery Timeline: 5–7 working days

2.3. Express Delivery
Charge: ₹3999

Description: An expedited shipping option available upon approval by the Nearby Pets India Support Team.

Delivery Timeline: 3–4 days (subject to pet availability and approval)

2.4. Self-Pickup Option
Customer can also request self-pickup directly from our affiliated farms, our office, or any of our affiliate centers. This option allows you to pick up your pet at your convenience, bypassing standard delivery charges. Please coordinate with our support team to arrange a self-pickup.

3. Pre-Delivery Conditions
Before any pet is shipped, we ensure the following conditions are met to guarantee their health and safe travel:

Age: The pet is at least 45 days old.

Vaccination: The first vaccination is completed and properly documented.

Fit-for-Travel Certificate: A fit-for-travel certificate is obtained if applicable and required for the chosen mode of transport.

Visual Inspection: Photos and/or videos of the pet will be sent to the buyer for visual confirmation before dispatch.

4. Shipping Methodology

Program Utilized: We operate under the "Pets In Basket Program."

Transport Modes: Shipments are coordinated using IRCTC (Indian Railways), road transport, and air transport as applicable.

Handling: Deliveries are managed by dedicated in-person personnel who are trained to handle, care for, and accompany the pets safely during travel.

Determination of Transport Mode: The choice of transport is based on the delivery location, logistical availability, and specific requirements of the order.

5. Delays & Rescheduling
Unexpected Delays: In rare cases, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, transport disruptions, or matters related to the breeder. We will keep you updated proactively in such situations.

Customer Availability: If you anticipate not being available at the time of delivery, you must inform our

support team at least 24 hours in advance.

Missed Deliveries: Missed deliveries due to customer unavailability without prior notice may lead to rescheduling charges or temporary boarding costs for the pet.

No Fixed-Time Guarantee: While we strive to coordinate deliveries based on your availability, we do not guarantee fixed-time delivery slots. Our best efforts are made to align with your preferences within operational limits.

6. Delivery Confirmation
Verification Upon Delivery: Upon successful delivery, the customer or their authorized representative must verify the pet's condition thoroughly and sign the Delivery Acknowledgment Form.

Reporting Concerns: In case of any visible health concerns (e.g., wounds, blood cuts, bites, hairless patches) identified at the time of delivery, you must notify us within 4 hours of delivery with supporting photos and/or videos. Failure to do so may affect your ability to claim a refund or replacement.

7. Refunds for Non-Delivery
Company's Responsibility: In case the pet is undeliverable due to reasons on our end (e.g., severe transport issues, pet health issues arising pre-dispatch that prevent travel), a full refund or an alternate pet option will be provided.

Processing Time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

8. Additional Charges & Services

8.1. Pet Foods and Accessories
Separate Purchase: The Company does not offer pet foods or accessories as part of the standard pet shipment.

Additional Cost: Should these items be requested by the customer, they will incur an additional charge along with applicable GST.

8.2. Exotic Birds Registration
Applicable For: Buyers of exotic birds.

Charge: ₹3000

Description: This fee covers the documentation and payable charges associated with obtaining mandatory Parivesh registration for exotic birds, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

9. Local Government Regulations
Customer Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for completing any necessary local government registrations and adhering to applicable municipal or corporation regulations pertaining to pet ownership in their area.

10. General Conditions
GST Inclusion: All applicable charges mentioned in this policy are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Timeline Variability: All delivery timelines provided are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen external factors.

11. Amendments & Acceptance
Policy Modifications: The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be updated on our website and communicated accordingly.

Acceptance: By placing an order with Nearby Pets India, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Shipment and Delivery Policy.
